Race Day

Preparations for your race really begin in the week preceding the race, mainly in the form of making sure your bike is honed, fettled and generally race worthy. You don’t want to be scrabbling around on the morning of race day buying bits and pieces from the bike trade stall, then trying to fit them last minute. So check the bike over on the tue/weds before. That includes all bolts, screws, nuts, cables, tyres, headset, checking wheels for trueness, inspecting discs and pads or brake blocks and rims for wear, and making sure that your gears are clean shifting.

Site News : The recipe section is now beginning to grow
Site StuffA big thanks to Giles (aka gabber) who sent the first 19 recipes over to me to post on the site.

"Recipes!" i hear you say. "Is this not a mountain bike club site based in epping forest? Why are we turning the site into a cookbook?"

Well, hard cycling = burning calories. We need fuel like a car needs petrol and rumour has it that these recipes taste a bit better that unleaded or in my case diesel (shhhh - dont tell anyone).

Site News : The new site goes live!
Site StuffThe original site has been online for around 6 months now and it's only after trying to maintain a site and add in all the gadgets that you see on other peoples sites that you realise what a mess you've made. After playing around with a few ideas, we finally came up with this.

Hopefully this site will bring infinately more features than the original one ever did and we can do the Epping Hard Cru members justice!

Have a look around and we hope you enjoy the new look.

If you spot any errors or broken bits around the site, please use the 'contact us' link on the main navigation panel to notify us.

Enjoy!!!
