After a hard afternoon building a jump yesterday and a few aches I decided to have a bit of a lie in, so didnt venture over till around 9.45ish. Okay then, parked the car padded up and sporting my new full facer pootled over to the dh run. Warmed up on the run bringing me out at the bottom of the dj`s where I met up with Steve(trax) Mike,Mark, and younger bruv Rich. Will leave them to explain what they did before I arrived. Had the normal ehc chat lol and watching Steve on the main run wetted my appetite although I was a bit anxious as the ground wasnt exactly dry, (ok not to bad). After a bit of coaxing from Steve and watching him ( jumping smooooooooth) I did the last two jumps together for the first time so I was happy as a boy in a sweet shop. A little later Steve made a move for home,so we decided to play on the last jump of the dh run (vids to follow) and then spent some time building around the last third of the dh run that Me and Giles were on about the other day. Well I have to say the lads put in a blinding effort and we was well rewarded with some fast flowy track. Vids and pics to follow. The berm now inspires you to hit it with some speed and pushes you straight into the small jump (thats getting bigger) before the gulley and last jump. It needs a berm after the log drop (hopefully tomorrow). All in all another great inspiring day.

How fast is that section now boys, mustard I have to say. popped up to the father in laws archery club tonight to collect some wooden posts, picked up a better saw, so will cut them down and spike em in the morning at home on my workbench( in the car park lol) then off to build a berm following the log drop to keep the speed up in to the last berm before the jumps and gulley. Hehe cant wait.

Steve - master trail builder!
(Mark's bro cracks me up - in real live and in photos he always looks like a cartoon character! he strikes me as someone how doesn't take life seriously - in a good way!)

Some nice building you've been doing Steve, I was really impressed withvyour jump. Plenty of scope for new features and I'd like to check out the downhill run down the road.
Had an excellent 3 hour session at Danbury afterwards, I love that place so much!

Yep, that berms fast now, gutted i did'nt ride much today, just did'nt fancy it after last time in the wet, typical that the trails were drying by the time we had to leave.
