Yes can you believe it - less than 24 hours later and another one has gone. This time citing not liking being shouted at (by the legendary Finance Director) and being told to work harder!!

Alas I was called up to see said FD to be shown the resignation letter from yesterday. There are 7 points of complaint as reason for him leaving and amusingly I am down as Nos 1-4 (although to be fair No.4 was hardly a point because he simply said he didn't think it was coincidence he was the 4th to leave since I had started). Point 3 made me laugh cos he accused me of just surfing the net all day and being paid to do so! As if eh??

Who knows what tomorrow will bring - will another one go?? Watch this space!

Way I see it - you've obviously made some major changes, forced the lazy bastards to work and as a result they've walked - not you're fault - you just need to proove that productivity has increased, or that laziness has decreased.

Don't worry about it - the between my boss changing job and me taking over on the Monday our cash forecast went from £4m positive to £2m negative - I had some serious sweat patches that day I tell ye! Just got to remain calm and look at it from angles (and work out that someone forget to submit their cash forecast) - it all comes good in the end!
