aye, the guy in the garage apologised to me.

Serves me right for being a silly c**t and driving a few thousand miles on the spare rather than getting the proper tyre fixed.

That said - had to have pads and discs changed too - BUT 1st change since buying the car 80,000 miles ago - so that has been a bit of a result!
